You are invited to the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast! The Global Breakfast is an event that happens on a single day in February of each year in conjunction with the U.N Day of Women and Girls in Science. The aim is to celebrate the accomplishments of Women in Science and to inspire younger generations to pursue careers in science. The theme for 2022 is “Empowering Diversity in Science”. Women and men from all types of science organizations working in all areas of science come together to share breakfast either virtually or in person. A central goal is also to establish an active network of both men and women to overcome the barriers to gender equality in science. The Global Breakfast facilitates the formation of communities on a local, regional, and international scale to effectively share ideas and strategies for progress.
